| Restor-A-Finish -Eliminates white heat rings and water marks -Blends out scratches and blemishes -Restores color and luster to faded finishes Restore it - Don't Strip it With a simple wipe-on, whip off process, most finished wood surfaces that seem to need a complete refinishing job can be restored in minutes. White heat rings and water marks, sun fade, oxidation, smoke damage and most other blemishes can be quickly eliminated. Before you go the extreme of stripping it, try restoring it! How does it work? Restor-A-Finish is a unique finish-penetrating formula that restores the original color and luster to the finish while blending out minor scratches and blemishes. Restor-A-Finish permanently eliminates whiet heat rings, water marks, scratches, color fade, oxidation, smoke damage etc.. Restor-A-Finish cleans the surface and restores the finish in one easy step- without removing any of the existing finish. Use the handy color chart on the Howard brochure to help you select the best shade to match the finish you want to restore. Restor-A-finish is available in many colors. Neutral, Maple-Pine, Golden oak, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, dark Walnut, dark Oak and Ebony Brown. Treats Scratches, Nicks and Abrasions Restor-a-Finish works best when you apply it with a small pad of toweling or for more severe white rings and crazing, with Super fine (0000) steel wool. Do not pour directly on the finish, just add a little dab to your cloth or steel wool. Always rub with the grain of the wood. White Heat Rings, water or Smoke damage Apply Restor-A-Finish with steel wool and run just hard enough with the grain, to blend out the white effect, periodically checking your progress. If a high gloss finish should appear dull due to the use of steel wool, polish it out with Howards Burnishing Cream or polishing compound. Revive Faded Finishes Wipe on the appropriate color of Restor-A-finish with a clean cloth. Let it stand for a few minutes and wipe dry. Follow up with Feed n wax to protect and mintain the restored finish. Raised and Blistered Finishes Apply Neutral Restor-A-Finish ( to prevent darkening of exposed wood ) with steel wool. As blisters soften, press down while restor-A-finish is applied. Wipe until the surface no longer "blooms" with excess Restor-A-finish. , follow up with Feed-N-wax. |
